Awtar Singh Virdi: Anamorphism
Anamorphism is a unique form of art wherein the artist draws/paints a distorted image on canvas which only makes visual sense when a chrome cylinder is placed at a certain point of the canvas. This is a truly magnificent artform and one that should not be missed for all the world. His artworks include portraits of Sachin Tendulkar and Mother Teresa. Gajanan Govind Gadgil:Aircraft Models of three airforces.
Every child dreams of joining the airforce, of piloting a plane, many of us realise something close to this dream by flying passenger in a plane. Few actually take up the profession. For all those who haven't, this exhibition provides an opportunity to reminicse and think of what could have been. Gajanan's collection of model planes over 150, with replicas os planes used in the Indian, Israeli and Pakistani airforces all included.
