Some things never change. Nor should they – Classic JAM is back again this year. The proceedings are presided over by an agent of Her Majesty herself - the JAM Master - a most discriminating pedant of the finest class.
Be dazzled by the amount of sheer wit and spontaneity in the room. A minute never did seem this entertaining.
The Bottom Line: Speak fluently in flawless Queen’s English as long as you can. Find flaws in your opponents’ speech.

All you’ve got do is speak your nerves out for a minute, without stopping, slurring or being grammatically incorrect. Only Queen’s English is allowed to be used while speaking. The participants may buzz the speaker in case any of the above rules is being violated.
Registration: On the spot during Mood Indigo ’08. The competition is open only to college students with a valid college I-card.
Team Size: Solo
Eliminations: Each elimination round will stretch for about 10 minutes and will include 6-8 participants as per the JAM Master’s discretion.
Finals: 6-8 participants will be chosen from amongst all the participants for the finals, for a longer JAM session. Multiple rounds of around 10 minutes each will be held.
• Rules differ for each round – The rounds will be announced on the spot.
• Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.
• The decision of the JAM Master will be final and binding.
Judging Criteria: Spontaneity, Wit, use of Queen’s English, Any other criteria the JAM Master may deem suitable during the event

Second Prize: 2,500 INR
Third Prize: 1,500 INR
