Two’s Company – Western Instrumental Jugalbandi
If being in a band is not your thing, and playing solo, just too boring, here's just what you need: The Western instrumental jugalbandi competition. Sometimes, all you need is a partner in crime. Get on stage with your partner and enthral your audience with sheer musicality.
Two Instruments. Two musicians. One stage. One winner.
The Bottom Line: Perform a prepared western instrumental jugalbandi on stage. In a jugalbandi, the two musicians must be on an equal footing i.e. neither is clearly the soloist and neither clearly an accompanist. Both musicians act as lead players, and a playful competition ensues between them.
Team Size: 2
