Category A
Each team has to perform a single English song or a medley of English songs. A recorded music track may be used as an accompaniment to the vocal performance but is not mandatory.
Registration: On the spot during Mood Indigo ’08. The competition is open only to college students with a valid college I-card.
Team Size: 3 - 5 + 1 CA (if required)
Time Limit: 3-6 minutes
• Participants should choose songs appropriately such that all members of the groups have definite roles.
• The team may bring along a background music track as an accompaniment to their vocal performance if the require it. This may be brought as a .cda or .mp3 file on a CD or a pen drive. The track must be completely devoid of any vocals (inclusive of leads, harmony, seconds and others). Any vocals in the track will lead to instant disqualification.
• Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Judging Criteria: Synchronisation, harmony, rhythm, timing, optimal role of all performers, delivery and quality of vocals, improvisation made in the song by the team (if any), overall on-stage impact

First Prize: 8,000 INR
Second Prize: 5,000 INR
