Andaaz Apna Apna – Uniting Two Dance Forms
No more lame co-ordinated jigs and synchronization of moves. This is the world of Black and White – the celebration of contrast as well as the complementary nature of the dancers. Two dance forms and two dancers – the recipe is enticing.

Category B
Registration: On the spot at the venue during Mood Indigo ’08. The competition is open only to college students with a valid college I-card.
Team Size: 2 + 1 CA compulsory
Time Limit: 4 - 6 minutes. (including setup and clearance time)
• Each team should consist of 2 dancers each performing a different dance form (selected from the list given below) throughout the performance.
• The dancers are not allowed to change their respective dance forms during the performance.
• Both dancers have to perform simultaneously for at least 2 minutes in the entire duration of the performance. The participants may dance separately or simultaneously during remaining time.
• The two different dance forms must be selected from the following list:
1. Jazz
2. Ballet
3. Hiphop including B-boy, Popping, Locking, R&B, Krumping, Break Dance
4. Contemporary Dance
5. Tap Dance
6. Indian Semi Classical Dance
7. Indian Folk Dance including Bhangra, Ghoomar, Garba etc. (Any 1 Folk Dance Form to be selected)
Note: No two different Indian Folk Dance forms may be selected as the two different dance forms. No two types of Hip Hop may be selected as the two different dance forms.
• Pre-recorded music should be brought in a CD/DVD or a pen drive in .cda or .mp3 format only. (Other formats may not be supported on the computer – use them at your own risk)
• Any kind of fluid or flame is not allowed on stage.
• Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Judging Criteria: Choice of the dance forms, Choreography and use of dance forms, Expressions, Coordination, Song selection, Costumes, Stage Utilisation, Overall Impact
